Society Meetings and Events

Our meetings are normally held on the first Thursday of each month at 7.45pm. These meetings are open to all - non-members are welcome with no admission charges (except for special events). Tea and coffee are available at the interval and a raffle is held to help defray costs.

We assemble for our monthly meetings at Chilworth Parish Hall, Chilworth Road, Chilworth, Southampton, SO16 7JZ. (OS Map Ref: SU410184). This hall is to the north of Southampton, lying just off the A27 Bassett to Romsey road next to the Clump Inn (now called the Chilworth Arms). A separate page gives maps and directions to the hall.

Thu 1 Mar 2012	"Ellesmere Port & Liverpool 2011" with Peter Oates and Laura Sturrock. This will include pictures of the 2011 Easter Gathering at the Ellesmere Port Museum, the crossing of the Mersey and a journey along the new Liverpool Link.
Thu 5 Apr 2012	Tony Shadick will show film footage of SCS boat trips; Railway at war; Classic Goodwood; Air shows; the rebuild of an old Coast Guard boat and a trip to the Thames by bus.
Thu 3 May 2012	There will be NO May Meeting as the hall is reserved for use as a polling station.
Thu 7 Jun 2012	Speaker to be confirmed.
